| The Boltdown
Barrier: This system is best
used in areas where only limited access
prior to the emergency is required. As
with all Rapidam systems, this barrier
is designed for the quickest possible
installation, with the fewest possible
personnel. This configuration has a much
smaller leading skirt, which keeps the
barrier in the erect position at all times.
The system is bolted to the ground with
pre-installed hardware, which when reinstalled,
goes through pre-drilled holes in an aluminum
plate and the barrier. This sandwiching
of the skirt, between the ground and the
plate, helps the barrier form, and keep,
its 100% waterproof seal. Each section
has the ability to be zipped to another,
with a patented zipping system. There
are also pre-designed transition and end
pieces, allowing for the attachment and
configuration to any opening. Because
each section is modular, multiple configurations
can be accomplished with each system.
